All Creatures Animal Hospital is looking for Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our Small Animal/Exotic Emergency team!
We are looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician with exceptional personality and communication skills.
Candidates must currently have or be able to obtain a WA Veterinary Technician license.
Our Ideal Candidate • is outgoing and friendly • possesses excellent communication skills • has veterinary experience, although new graduates will be considered • is willing to work the advertised schedule and holidays. • Is a Licensed Veterinary Technician or has a veterinary technician degree and is in the process of obtaining their license.
We are looking for multiple full-time positions, including an overnight shift which qualifies for shift differential.

We are an extended hour general and emergency service small animal/exotic practice in Bremerton, WA. Our general practice technicians are responsible for the care and treatment of a wide variety of patients from the healthy spay to the critically ill patient. The work is never dull; we see all varieties of animals including small animal, exotic, avian and reptiles. We are also a way station for our local wildlife shelter.

Job Overview:
Our technicians are responsible for the care and treatment of unstable and/or critically ill patients, triaging emergency patients, monitoring hospitalized patients, performing patient laboratory tests, treatments and medical care, admitting and discharging patients, client communication and education, and answering technical calls/questions.
Some shifts entail working swing and overnight shifts.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Knowledge of basic veterinary practices, procedures, terminology and emergency care
• Ability to appropriately handle, lift and restrain animals (dogs, cats, pocket pets, birds, reptiles, wildlife etc.) and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to perform veterinary medical procedures (i.e. venipuncture, radiology, IV catheter placement, drug calculations, administer medications & fluids, and assess & triage patients)
. • Have basic organizational and computer skills as well as excellent technical skills.
